Missing vulnerable person: Dana Gardell, 46, may be walking from Edina toward Eagan

EDINA, Minn. — Edina police are asking for help locating Dana Gardell, 46, who was last seen leaving M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital around 2 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2026, according to the alert supplied to Minnesota Now.

The hospital is located at 6401 France Avenue South in Edina. Police believe Gardell may be attempting to walk toward Eagan. His route has not been confirmed.

Authorities consider Gardell vulnerable and are concerned that he was not dressed appropriately for cold weather.

Gardell is described as White, 5 feet 10 inches tall and approximately 255 pounds, with brown hair, a brown beard and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue button-up shirt and blue Dickies work pants.
